About Us

WOlf Technical Services, Inc.

Founded in 1977, Wolf Technical Services is dedicated to engineering excellence. The business operates within four areas of expertise: forensics, graphics, military and commercial.

The Wolf team is built on a foundation of integrity in practice and has a strong reputation based on our professionalism, exceptional skills, recognized experts and the value for our partners.

Some of Wolf’s accomplishments include:

  • More than 23,000 forensic cases with no successful Frye or Daubert challenges against us. We pride ourselves in working for both plaintiff and defense attorneys since 1977.

  • Attorneys throughout the US have utilized Wolf’s Demonstrative Evidence tools to successfully mediate, settle and try cases resulting in millions of dollars in awards, settlements and judgments annually. Wolf’s evidence consultants work closely with expert witnesses to more effectively communicate their professional opinions.

  • We serve as consulting engineers for the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and Indy Car in their safety improvement for spectators and participants.

  • It was Wolf’s technical expertise that was instrumental in creating laws mandating the addition of retro-reflective striping on commercial vehicles. A similar statute will soon apply to railcars.

  • Wolf contributes to the continuing education of professionals throughout the US with their scientific knowledge and practical experience. The lessons Wolf has learned in more than 30 years of forensic work, provide unique value and insights into forensic science delivered in a palatable manner.

  • Wolf is responsible for the technical development of UMARS, a restraint system intended to improve safety for occupants in military helicopters. The UMARS concept has commercial application potential for use in civilian helicopters.

  • The Wolf team also contributed to recent improvements to the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle.

  • Wolf has been awarded an SBIR Phase I & Phase II for a shock-absorbing troop seat design utilized in military helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.

  • Wolf has been awarded Phase I & II SBIR for Weigh in Motion (WIMS) sensor design.

  • Six of Wolf’s most experienced people played crucial roles in the creation of the Tomahawk Missile.
